How Life Events Started
Aya and Abed founded Life Events when they learned they were expecting a baby, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. Aya has always been passionate about event décor and meticulous details, while Abed is enthusiastic about building and crafting. They choose to kick off their venture with their baby’s gender reveal, creating everything from scratch, including marquee letters, balloon garlands, and carefully researching every detail to perfect their inaugural event.
They envisioned starting their own business not only to channel their creativity but also to give Aya the flexibility to work on her own terms, rather than being confined to a 9-to-5 job. With no family nearby in Houston, Texas, this entrepreneurial path allows Aya to spend precious time with their baby while pursuing her passion. As they take on small projects through their connections, they aim to build a successful business. Their ultimate goal is to ensure that every event they plan is characterized by “precise and exquisite attraction.”
